Looking back on this game project...

I definitely liked working on this game because of the concept that we were trying to showcase for our game. It isn't something that I have personally worked on before, but have seen other developers and games try to create something of this sort, so it was very intriguing to see how certain mechanics worked. One big challenge that I had to deal with for almost the entirety of this project was not having full functionality to my own game as a designer because of issues with perforce. An error in the server or with my account held me back from playing and testing my own game and so I was limited to creating, editing, and supervision on my teammates to see how the game was developing in a gameplay setting. Another challenge would be that I was not very knowledgable on creating movement for characters within a level (guards, A.I. use), and so I did not want to waste valuable time trying to learn this new skill and taking the time of my teammates. A good positive looking back on this project was that I was able to clearly communicate what we were currently working on as well as what we were collectively working towards as a team. Even though my perforce account was holding me back from play testing, I was still able to create and design, working around this problem. It was a journey, but I am proud of what my team and I have come together to create.
